Novelisto crosses beautifully with non-Andalusian mares. Below, a sampling of some of these crosses. In addition to Belgian and Quarter Horse mares, represented below through their offspring, Novelisto has also crossed very nicely with Arabs (for registerable Hispano-Arabs), Thoroughbreds (for registerable Iberian Sporthorses), and American Saddlebreds (for registerable Half-Andalusians). When bred to color, he consistently throws color.
